Multicomponent Dark Matter in Radiative Seesaw Models
نویسندگان
چکیده
We discuss radiative seesaw models, in which an exact Z2 × Z′ 2 symmetry is imposed. Due to the exact Z2 × Z′ 2 symmetry, neutrino masses are generated at a two-loop level and at least two extra stable electrically neutral particles are predicted. We consider two models: one has a multi-component dark matter system and the other one has a dark radiation in addition to a dark matter. In the multi-component dark matter system, non-standard dark matter annihilation processes exist. We find that they play important roles in determining the relic abundance and also responsible for the monochromatic neutrino lines resulting from the dark matter annihilation process. In the model with the dark radiation, the structure of the Yukawa coupling is considerably constrained and gives an interesting relationship among cosmology, lepton flavor violating decay of the charged leptons and the decay of the inert Higgs bosons.

Derivation of Dark Matter Parity from Lepton Parity.
It is shown that in extensions of the standard model of quarks and leptons where the additive lepton number L is broken by two units, so that Z_{2} lepton parity, i.e., (-1)L which is either even or odd, remains exactly conserved, there is the possibility of stable dark matter without additional symmetry. This applies to many existing simple models of Majorana neutrino mass with dark matter, in...
متن کاملLepton Flavor Violation and the Origin of the Seesaw Mechanism
The right–handed neutrino mass matrix that is central to the understanding of small neutrino masses via the seesaw mechanism can arise either (i) from renormalizable operators or (ii) from nonrenormalizable or superrenormalizable operators, depending on the symmetries and the Higgs content of the theory beyond the Standard Model. In this paper, we study lepton flavor violating (LFV) effects in ...
متن کاملTestability of the Higgs inflation scenario in a radiative seesaw model
The Higgs inflation scenario is an approach to realize the inflation, in which the Higgs boson plays a role of the inflaton without introducing a new particle. We investigate a Higgs inflation scenario in the so-called radiative seesaw model proposed by E. Ma. We find that a part of parameter regions where additional scalar fields can play a role of an inflaton is compatible with the current LH...
متن کاملRνMDM and Lepton Flavor Violation
A model relating radiative seesaw and minimal dark matter mass scales without beyond the standard model (SM) gauge symmetry (RνMDM) is constructed. In addition to the SM particles, the RνMDM contains, a Majorana fermion multiplet NR and scalar multiplet χ that transform respectively as (1, 5, 0) and (1, 6,−1/2) under the SM gauge group SU(3)C × SU(2)L × U(1)Y . The neutral component N0 R plays ...
متن کاملHigh energy seesaw models, GUTs and Leptogenesis
I review high energy (type I) seesaw models and in particular how they can be nicely embedded within grand-unified models and reproduce the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry with leptogenesis. I also discuss how high energy (type I) seesaw models can provide a candidate for very heavy cold dark matter, within the TeV-EeV range, whose decays might explain part of the IceCube high energy neutr...
